Learning Italian
The course, levels, exams, and moving at your own pace.
How do I level up?
Your level goes up when you pass the exam for that level. We combine a floor you can set manually with the level you earn by passing exams, and keep the higher of the two.
So you never “lose” a level on a bad day, but real progress is earned by proving it.
What are levels A1, A2, B1…?
That's the Common European Framework (CEFR), the standard for measuring language ability: A1 and A2 are beginner, B1 and B2 intermediate, C1 advanced. The Liralang course runs from A1 to C1.
What's the difference between practice and review?
- Practice: fresh, adaptive exercises on the lesson you're in.
- Review: brings back what you've already seen, right before you'd forget it, to lock it in.
