Liralang teaches Italian starting from a language you already know. The idea is simple: you already understand a lot of Italian, so the course focuses on what actually changes.

You get a structured course by level (A1 to C1), conversation with an AI that adapts to you, writing correction, stories, vocabulary, and review.

No card needed to start. You can try the course and the AI before deciding on a plan.

1. Create a free account with your email or with Google.
2. Take the quick placement check so the course starts at your level.
3. Open your first chapter: lesson, practice, and a short review.

1. On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot your password?”.
2. Enter your email and we'll send a reset link.
3. If it doesn't arrive in a few minutes, check spam or try signing in with Google.

Your level goes up when you pass the exam for that level. We combine a floor you can set manually with the level you earn by passing exams, and keep the higher of the two.

So you never “lose” a level on a bad day, but real progress is earned by proving it.

You speak (or type) Italian with an AI tutor that adapts to your level, your interests, and the tone you prefer. It replies, corrects you gently, and keeps the thread of the chat.

You can tune your preferences in “About you” inside the app so conversations feel more like yours.

You can use the course and try AI learning activities with 100 free credits per month, no card required. Premium includes a larger monthly AI-credit allowance for conversation practice, writing feedback, and adaptive practice.

No. There's no subscription and no auto-renewal, so there's nothing to cancel. Each purchase is a one-time payment that gives you access for a 1, 3, 6, or 12-month window; when that window ends, access simply closes.

If you want to keep using the paid features, you make a new purchase whenever you like. We never charge you again automatically.
